Is this bag made of real leather or is it some kind of synthetic leather?
All of the bags made by FPL® are completely made of genuine cow leather, or the hides from other animals. We NEVER use plastic or plastic leather blends. We only use the finest leathers, fabrics and hardware.
What kind of materials are the inside pockets made from?
FPL® bags are made to be as rugged as they are good looking. For this reason we use a heavy duty canvas material for the pockets inside of our bags. This canvas is tough but is soft and pliable.
My bag has some subtle variations in the leather.
Leather is a natural product so minor cosmetic differences are to be expected and are normal. One of the special properties of genuine leather is that it actually becomes more beautiful as it is used. As you use your beautiful FPL® bag it will take on it's own amazing patina and become even more supple and attractive.
My bag has a number branded into the strap, is that a model number?
No, that is the bag's unique serial number. No other bag produced in that line has that same serial number. FPL® bags are not mass produced, they are made in small limited editions. Our bags are hand made with meticulous attention to detail by skilled leather artisans in our FPL® workshop.

The dimensions of the bag are approximately 14 inches wide by 16 inches tall. The bag easily accommodates a 15 inch laptop computer. The strap with the 5 adjustment holes is approximately 39 inches long, and the strap with the buckle is approximately 9 inches long.
